My first expansion with the D600 & 24-70. Unfortunately, BOTH my 50mm’s are broken now, the 1.8 and the 1.4. :/
Yesterday I was at my village, here is a small snapshot! It’s great to be back in Greece. On Saturday I’ll be in Florence! :)

New studio self portrait! I’m starting to get a hang of these lights. Finally fixed my remote, so expect some more coming your way. On a side note, I’m going to Athens in 4 days! Yay!
i have spent hours looking through your tumblr(no joke), i just love scrolling down and seeing more things, and as i have liked your page on facebook, most of them are familiar, but i noticed that there are so many pictures that you only have here! i know that they are old, but could you maybe post some of your early work on facebook, as it is hard to keep track of them on tumblr! i hope i am not bothering you, this is just a suggestion as i find your work so inspiring! thankyou so much! xxx

Hi Anon,

Thank you so much for the feedback!!! Really, I appreciate it! <3

On Facebook, I try to display my best work. On Tumblr, though, I upload any other kind of images whenever I can so that I can update as frequently as possible. I’d love to upload older photos on my Facebook, but I don’t want to be one of those annoying pages that uploads photos every day. Not only that, but when people go to Photography pages on Facebook (like mine), they’d rather see smaller albums with better works, rather than an album with hundreds of photos. I hope that makes sense!

Much love.

I go to Greece in 12 days! I’ll be updating my Instagram (@margimadness) really often, just in case you guys want to follow my adventures in Athens, Florence, and Rome!
Hi! I absolutely love, love, LOVE your photography! Really! SO BEAUTIFUL and inspirational! :) I was wondering what lenses you have and what len(s) you use to photograph your portraits? They are so marvelous! Also, I was wondering what camera you shoot with? And finally, where did you make your website (margimadnesscom)? I just love the layout! Did you go to some free website creator or something? Ok, sorry to bog you with all these questions! Continue making beautiful art! :) :) :) :) Thank u!

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to drop me this message <3 <3

All my photos were taken with a Nikon D90. Portraits are with a Sigma 50mm f/1.4! Unfortunately (or fortunately) my D90 and the 50mm lens was on a tripod and my friend dropped it about 3 weeks ago! Both the camera and the lens broke, so I had to invest in and buy a new D600 & 24-70 f/2.8. Until the f/1.4 lens gets fixed, I’m using a cheap Nikon 50mm f/1.8G :) As for landscape photos, I used an 18-105 kit lens and close-up pictures of flowers and animals were taken with a Tamron 90mm macro lens. I haven’t taken any portraits yet with my new camera, so I can’t show any examples. :/

As for the website, I built it on 500px. The yearly fee for maintaining a portfolio is 60$ I believe, and I used iWantMyName for a custom domain name (www.margimadness.com) for 15$ a year. It was a cheap alternative to 4ormat. 500px has many different layouts to choose from, and the layout my website is in just fit perfectly!

Hope that answered your question :)

Hey guys!
I’m back with some photos.
A lot has happened the past few days… my D90 fell and broke, but I just received a new D600! My trip to Venezuela was cancelled due to a sudden health problem. Uhh, I’m currently dating someone who is absolutely wonderful. School is great, managed to keep my Semester 1 grades pretty high with A’s and B’s.
That’s all I can think of right now. :)
